I’ve been reading through this and I’ve never wanted to hurt people more. If you think building a mosque near Ground Zero (a whole 3 blocks away so it’s not even AT Ground Zero) is a bad idea, you can unfollow me now because I don’t want any association with your bigoted bullshit.
Islam does not equal Al Qaeda. Never has. Never will. Would you like it if all non-Christians went around calling all Christians paedophiles because some priests had a go with some kids? No. Because Christians do not equal paedophiles.
Actions of a few do not represent the majority.
You think it’s disrespectful to the families huh? How about you complain about the fucking strip club, which is closer, or the wide number of chain restaurants and stalls selling NYC tat? They’ve managed to turn a site to commemorate those who died into a fucking TOURIST ATTRACTION!
For fucks sake, it isn’t even a mosque! It’s a community centre! Just a place where people who follow Islam can get together.
That is my rant for this year done. Normally it isn’t so volatile but the whole uproar about the mosque has really sent me mad.

WHY CAN’T ANY OF THOSE PEOPLE SPELL MOSQUE PROPERLY. GOD DAMMIT I HATE AMERICA.
(if you’re reading this CIA, I’m overreacting, I don’t really hate America. I just wish people had a proper education of religions other than the one that they were raised with to support tolerance/the proper spelling of their places of worship)
